1. What made you decide to join the MediPharm Labs team?

I felt my experience and skills were a good fit for the company, such that I could make a very positive impact. I also liked that MediPharm Labs was a very progressive organization with hands-on senior leaders.  In fact, the first time I met our CEO Pat McCutcheon, he was operating a rotary evaporator on a Sunday afternoon.  At that moment, I knew MediPharm Labs was the company for me.

2. What’s your favourite thing about your job?

My favourite thing about my job is that I am offered opportunities to be inventive and creative in order to improve processes and solve problems. In such a new and growing industry, there are lots of learning opportunities and chances to optimize and innovate. I feel fortunate to play an integral role in fostering positive change and furthering innovation at MediPharm Labs.

3. What have you learned since joining the MediPharm Labs team that you didn’t know before you started?

Since joining the MediPharm Labs team in 2018, I’ve also come to learn that great workplace cultures really do exist and that a strategic emphasis on the future keeps a business progressive, laser-focused and committed to continuous improvement.

4. What three qualities do you bring to your work at MediPharm Labs?

I believe that the three qualities I bring to MediPharm Labs are a diverse background, a strong work ethic and an appreciation for and commitment to innovative collaboration.

5. What was the last book you read?

The last book I read, by author John Emsley, was called ‘Molecules at an Exhibition’.  Written in layman’s terms, this is a fascinating book about special elements and molecules and their uses in the world.
